Chillicothe’s boys tennis team defeated Jackson 3-2 on Wednesday, clinching the Frontier Athletic Conference championship, according to Chillicothe Coach Miguel Flores. Flores said the Cavaliers improved to (11-4) overall and finished (8-0) in conference play. It marks the third consecutive FAC title for Chillicothe, all of them coming with undefeated conference records. Chillicothe won three of the five matches in the dual. Multiple Chillicothe High School students have been selected to perform in the CAPA Marquee Showcase during the CAPA Marquee Awards this spring. Those students include: Zack Rouleau, Jacey Stephens, Meredith Tilberry, and Jamie Bridenbaugh. Chillicothe High School English teacher and theater director Amanda Betz, the CAPA Marquee Awards ceremony will be held on May 13th, 2026. Chillicothe rallied late to pick up a 7-5 road win over Jackson on Wednesday, using a big sixth inning to secure the victory and a share of the FAC softball title. Photo by Denielle Rittinger Jackson controlled much of the game early, building a 5-1 lead heading into the sixth inning; however, the Lady Cavaliers responded with a six-run burst in the top of the sixth to flip the momentum and take the lead for good. Chillicothe’s offense produced timely hitting throughout the
