Chillicothe's Boys Golf team saw consistent effort from its athletes on Monday. According to CHS Coach Jason Fischer, the Cavaliers competed in two nine-hole matches at The Greens in Washington Court House, shooting a combined 162 in both.
"CHS wins the 1st match and takes second in the 2nd match, moving its FAC conference record to (9-1)," said Coach Fischer.
Chillicothe junior Vincent Haller was the medalist in Match 1, shooting a 37. Haller finished 3rd overall with a 79.
Washington senior John Wall was the Match 2 and 18-Hole medalists, shooting a 36 and 74, respectively.
Junior Aidan Fischer, of Chillicothe, was right behind Wall in the 18th-hole standings, shooting a 76.
