CHS represented at State Indoor Track Meet

Hardiesty with Coach Strong

This past Saturday, Chillicothe High School had 6 female student-athletes attend the State Indoor Track Meet. The girls in attendance were Taylor Hardiesty (10th), Kiera Archer (12th), Gabby Maranzana (9th), Ella Strauch (12th), Ava Hickman-Beck (10th), and Chloe Beatty (9th).

Hardiesty started the day off by placing 12th overall in high jump, clearing 5 feet.

Archer ran the 400-meter dash and placed 4th overall. She also ran the 200-meter dash placing 8th overall. Both of these finishes make Archer All-State in her events.

Chillicothe's 4x800-meter relay consisting of Hickman-Beck, Maranzana, Strauch, and Beatty placed 15th overall.

To finish off the day, Maranzana ran the 3200 and finished 11th overall.
