Chillicothe High School's Marching Band earned a Superior rating at OMEA state competition in October. According to Director Mrs. Michelle Turon, this marked the fourth consecutive year that the CHS Marching Band earned a bid to state, and it was the second year in a row the band earned a Superior.
The competition show was entitled "The Roaring '20s" and was performed by the band's 61 members.
Students began working on their show last summer.

Earlier in the fall, the Marching Cavaliers won Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center’s Battle of the Bands competition. The win was secured through a student vote, overcoming a strong challenge from Unioto's band.
